Born
January 5, 1959. Cousin of the late famous Haitian master peintre,
Celestin Faustin. He is by his own right and talents a well known
artist himself who in some way embraces Celestin's Voodoo style. He
is also an apprentice of Celestin and was also an apprentice of Celestin's
mentor, Wilmino Domond. He has exhibited in Europe, Canada, Santo
Domingo and The United States. |

Raymond
was born on July 15, 1964. He finished primary school and started
to paint under the more famous Fritz Jean Louis. He suffered a mental
breakdown at the age of 21 and was ill for three years. He said to
me that an angel came to him in a dream and gave him paints and brushes
and thus made him a painter. He is becoming increasingly popular as
time goes by. Gallery Gallatta and Gallery Mapoo carry his work in
Haiti. |
